One of the Godfathers of Drum & Bass, a pioneer, superstar, owner of the most important imprint in the business and leader of the resistance - It is with great pleasure to introduce my next very special guest... GOLDIE from METALHEADZ... From the creation of prototype Drum & Bass with tracks like Terminator and Kemistry back in the early 90's, launching the Metalheadz record label / Sunday Sessions at the Blue note and releasing the groundbreaking LP Timeless thru London Records, Goldie has been the driving force and has remained true and faithful to the Sound up to the present day. With out a doubt you will be listening to the very best in Drum and Bass on the night as Goldie is coming down to tear up the place! STANDARD! We got 121 limited Gold Tickets for the lucky few. It's a 1st come 1st serve system and the Gold Tickets go on sale from the 9th of April at the next Fringe night featuring PHIL SOURCE. Available at the bar. DJ ARKALA will be joining myself SOUL BEAT RUNNA as we prepare the place for lift off. Expect to hear music from artists like Photek, Wax Doctor, Seba, Calibre, SPY, PFM, Optical, D Bridge, Doc Scott, Paradox, etc etc... On the projector we will be playing you the classic Metalheadz Documentary "Talking Headz" from the 90's which features footage of Goldie and the Metalheadz movement. Indy Jax - The crew will be shaking the cocktails on the night and serving you a diverse selection of beers, spirits and wines from across the world. The place will be candle lit and the roof top garden ready for the Summer. There will be more surprises which I will announce as the time gets closer. Fringe presents PHIL SOURCE 09/04/11
OK here we go ...
From an outfit that truly pioneered some of the most important turning points in Drum & Bass history it is a pleasure to have PHIL SOURCE from SOURCE DIRECT fame as our very special guest at the next edition of Fringe. SOURCE DIRECT have recorded seminal tunes for the biggest labels in the movement. From Goldies Metalheadz and LTJ Bukems Goodlooking label right through to Richard Branson’s Virgin records where ...the famous duo put out their debut album.
The DJ support for their music was phenomenal.

In more recent times Phil has launched the impressionable Vampire Recordings which sees him producing music alongside a plethora of some of the coolest cats in the game and then jetting of around the globe introducing us to his take on future beatz.
Also watch out for his collab with Mark System forthcoming on Shy FX's Digital Soundboy label.
So on the night expect to hear world premiers and some stone cold classics from the Source!
Resident DJ Arkala, Rolling Resistance and myself will be playing you the very best in the deeper shades of Drum & Bass as we get the place prepared...
Bringing music and film together and for this special occasion Blade will be on the projector as Source Direct produced some of the music for the picture.
